Meat Beat Manifesto – ScarKord Mixtape 4

Ok, I lied. Here is Part 4 of my Meat Beat Mixtape trilogy and I’ve gone upbeat again…

A bit of an eclectic selection in this one, including a few loops from some of my favourite MBM remixes. I’m particularly pleased with how well the beat from Hyperreal Selector fits with the Aphex Twin mix of Mindstream and Jack’s vocal from God OD.

I must say, I’ve really enjoy revisiting these tracks and pulling out interesting loops and noises to create something new. But, 4 parts is probably enough now so I’ll choose another artist to work on next. Possibly Orbital or Plaid? Or maybe Renegade Soundwave? Hmmm…
